ANGA COM 2025: Raycap Protects Telecommunications Infrastructure
Garching, May 15, 2025 – From June 3 to 5, 2025, Europe’s telecommunications industry will gather in Cologne for ANGA COM. At Hall 8, Booth E12, Raycap will showcase its comprehensive portfolio of infrastructure solutions designed specifically for the expansion of broadband and next-generation networks. Highlights include fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) enclosures, specialized racks, and various housings used in telecommunications applications.
In addition to high-performance data transmission, safeguarding network infrastructure is essential for future-ready telecommunications. Raycap will present a range of appropriate solutions at ANGA COM. At Booth E12 in Hall 8, visitors will find modular outdoor enclosures for both active and passive network components, customized telecom cabinets, weatherproof housings, cable assemblies, surge protection systems, and other innovations aimed at improving the performance and reliability of telecom infrastructure.
Aluminum Enclosures for Broadband Networks
Raycap relies on corrosion-resistant aluminum for all its outdoor enclosure solutions. This includes its fiber distribution cabinets, which are also made from this robust material. These cabinets comply with multiple industry standards, including anti-burglary classification T4 (121–180 sec) according to DIN 47609:2023 and RC2 per EN 1627, impact resistance IK10 per IEC 62262, as well as resistance to mechanical stress, vibration, and shock per IEC 60721-3-4. This makes them exceptionally rugged and resilient to external forces.
The enclosures not only withstand physical impact but also deter unauthorized access, protecting the internal network components from damage or tampering. With an IP54 rating, they offer excellent weather resistance. An optional anti-graffiti coating allows spray paint to be easily removed. Their durability and longevity make aluminum enclosures a sustainable and environmentally friendly choice.
Fiber Distribution Cabinets for Flood-prone Areas
Specifically developed for deployment in flood-prone regions, Raycap’s new fiber distribution cabinet provides a secure and reliable solution for installing and managing fiber optic connections in FTTH networks – even under harsh environmental conditions. With an extended plinth and lower section, the internal components are effectively protected even in damp or flood-susceptible areas.
MFG Series: Elegant and Durable Multi-Talents
At ANGA COM, Raycap will also showcase its innovative double-walled modular multifunction enclosures from the MFG series, designed for outdoor use. Like the NVT series, the MFG cabinets are made of corrosion-resistant aluminum and can be customized to customer specifications. They are ideal for housing active transmission equipment such as xDSL or vectoring modules, as well as FTTx components and passive fiber optics.
The enclosures can be equipped with a variety of sensors – for door monitoring, humidity detection, access control, and power distribution. Their versatility makes them suitable for a wide range of broadband and mobile network applications. Featuring the same design characteristics as the NVT series, these telecom enclosures also contribute to a uniform urban appearance.
Supporting Fiber Network Expansion
For fiber management, Raycap will present its universal splice cassette system for fiber optic networks. This system combines the benefits of single-circuit and single-element fiber management and also allows the integration of optical splitters within the same cassette. The universal cassette can be used not only in fiber distribution cabinets but at all network nodes, and complies with DIN EN IEC 61756-1 for single fiber management systems.
Additionally, Raycap will exhibit its ODF series rack systems, which house components for splicing and patching optical fibers while neatly managing fiber cable lengths. Depending on the connector type, more than 3,000 fiber connections can be accommodated. This modular management rack is ideal for use in both backbone and access fiber networks and is designed for easy installation.
