May 2026 – At The smarter E Europe 2026, taking place June 23–25 in Munich, Raycap will present its comprehensive surge protection portfolio for power distribution, photovoltaic systems, DC applications, and electric mobility in Hall B4, Booth 580. The company is highlighting developments from its own laboratories, with a focus on practical system solutions for installers and system integrators designed for simplified installation, high system compatibility, and efficient integration into modern energy infrastructures. 
Enhanced Solution for 60 mm Busbar Systems: ProTec 60 RX
In the field of power distribution, Raycap is introducing the ProTec 60 RX, an enhanced version of the ProTec 60 series. The solution expands compatibility to modern 60 mm busbar systems in both standard and insulated versions, enabling a broad range of applications in industrial power distribution systems. The ProTec 60 RX is designed for busbar heights from 12 mm to 30 mm and for thicknesses of 5 mm and 10 mm. Depending on the network configuration, it can be used in 3+0 systems for TN-C networks and in 3+1 systems for TN-S and TT applications.
Its pluggable design enables fast and secure installation with a reliable contact to the busbar system. This simplifies installation and reduces planning and system design efforts. The ProTec 60 RX is available as Type 1 and Type 2 surge protective devices in various versions, with or without integrated backup fuse protection. This reduces the number of additional components required and simplifies integration into existing systems, allowing flexible adaptation to different network requirements.
Surge Protection for AC and DC Charging Infrastructure: Scalable Solutions for E-Mobility
For e-mobility applications, Raycap is presenting solutions from its AC and DC charging infrastructure portfolio designed to meet a variety of performance and system requirements. The Strikesorb 35 series is Raycap’s core solution for advanced surge protection in high-power DC fast-charging applications, delivering comprehensive Type 1+2 protection for modern charging infrastructure. Complementing the portfolio, the ProTec T2 DCGU is a Type 2 surge protective device for DC fast-charging applications. Both solutions comply with IEC 61643-41 and are designed for EV applications in accordance with IEC 61851-23.
For compact AC charging points and wallbox applications, the ProBloc EV T2 provides highly compact surge protection with an installation width of only 35 mm. The solution is an ideal addition to existing protection concepts.
Photovoltaics: Pre-Assembled DC Protection Solutions for Inverters
In the photovoltaic segment, Raycap is showcasing its ProTec PV Boxes for DC-side inverter protection. The systems are available in single-, dual-, and triple-string configurations and support tool-free installation via MC4 or Quick Connect terminals. The ProTec PV Boxes are available as Type 1+2 or Type 2 variants and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. In addition, Raycap is expanding its portfolio with protection solutions for next-generation high-performance PV applications designed for DC systems operating at 2000 V and beyond. This development specifically addresses large-scale PV installations with increasing string voltages and greater demands on insulation, surge-withstand capability, and overall DC system reliability.
OEM and PCB-Based Protection Solutions for Compact System Integration
For OEM applications in the PV sector, Raycap offers integrated surge protection solutions designed for direct PCB mounting, enabling especially compact system integration. These solutions can also be retrofitted in the field. The solutions are designed for PV systems with DC voltages of 1,100 V and 1,500 V and meet both Type 1 and Type 2 requirements. With an ITotal rating of up to 12.5 kA at a 10/350 µs impulse waveform, they provide powerful protection for compact designs. These technologies are also used in the ProTec PV Boxes, supporting flexible product architectures while minimizing installation space requirements.

With Strikesorb, Raycap is presenting its proven surge protection technology for AC and DC applications, designed for high surge current loads and characterized by a low-maintenance, long-life design. The solution is suitable for photovoltaic, power, and charging infrastructure applications.
