The SafeTec technology is an open circuit mode in combination with current limiting technology. This current limiting control prevents permanent disconnection during adverse temporary overvoltage (TOV) conditions.
The ProTec T2 product family offers a wide range of applications as a Type 2 surge protection device (SPD). Due to its Type 2 classification, this product line can be installed between LPZ 1-2 and LPZ 2-3.
